Almost after a year long deliberation, I have finally decided to pen down my first post today.<\/p>\n<p><b> 5 December 2009<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Well&#8230; it was on this very day, my plans of getting a hatch for the city drive became concrete. <\/p>\n<p>There is nothing more difficult than choosing a hatch in the Indian car market. But then, it was pretty easy for me because I had my priorities well defined. I always needed a car that is trouble free and easy to drive. <\/p>\n<p><b> 8 December 2009<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Having been driven around on an Innova for almost half a decade, the choice was simple, I zeroed in on the Hyundai I10 Sportz 1.2. The only pending task was to touch and feel the Electric Red version in flesh<\/p>\n<p>I dropped into KUN Hyundai, chennai to TD my would be Hatch. The Sales person was kind enough to get me a TD in just 10 minutes. The dealership experience was pretty smooth. I preferred Kotak Mahindra to fund my deal.<\/p>\n<p>The dealership had my same dream color on display. I was well aware of that extra care those dark solid paints demand. Despite that I was forced to follow my heart.<\/p>\n<p>Finally choose my color and closed the deal as given below.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn Road Price Price: 4.78L (Ex &#8211; Discount)<br \/>\nDiscount: 25,000<\/p>\n<p>Extras<\/p>\n<p>Fog Lamps: 4,400<br \/>\nKey less (Hyundai): 4,600<br \/>\nLabour; 500.00<br \/>\nTotal Landed Cost: 4.62L<\/p>\n<p><b> 10 December 2009<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Got a call from the financier that my loan has been approved. Immediately the call was followed up by KUN sales guy. I was promised delivery on 12 December 2009 at 4.00 pm. <\/p>\n<p>The entire process was lightning fast.<\/p>\n<p><b> 12 December 2009<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The D day. The sales guy called me up to confirm the delivery. I was armed with all the PDI checklists in my hand (Had to skip the pre reg. PDI check due to paucity of time.)<\/p>\n<p>The PDI was complete. Except that the Tail gate had a negligible touch up work, it passed my QC.<\/p>\n<p>Finally drove her home with all excitement.
