A WISE PERSON<\/strong> not only gathers information, but goes a step beyond, by merging knowledge with gut instincts, and thereby thinking from both sides of their brain!<\/p>\n

HONING YOUR GUT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER IN BUSINESS FOR MANY REASONS…INCLUDING:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. The world has speeded up. Learning how to better trust your gut helps you make wiser, quicker decisions.<\/p>\n

2. The world has gotten more cluttered. Leaning to trust your gut helps you to wisely narrow focus on the most relevant facts.<\/p>\n

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: <\/strong>Find an object related to your business decision. Hold it in your hands. Then ask yourself directly what you want to know and allow thoughts to wander.<\/p>\n

2. LISTEN TO WHAT AN EXPERT HAS TO SAY: YOU. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Psychologists believe when you talk out loud you give your reflective mind less time to interfere with your overly-thinking mind. YOUR ASSIGNMENT<\/strong>: Find a place you can sit alone. Purposefully speak your thoughts out loud about your business project. Ask yourself rapidfire questions. Give yourself rapidfire answers.<\/p>\n

3. TRY THE IDEA ON FOR SIZE: <\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re struggling with a situation — try on different solutions. And I mean literally try the solutions on. YOUR ASSIGNMENT:<\/strong> Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Relax. Think about your first solution. Now imagine it as a jacket. Try it on. How does jacket number one fit? Next imagine solution number two as jacket number two. Try it on. How does this one feel? Try on as many jackets as you need to \u2013 but don\u2019t spend more than thirty seconds trying on each jacket.<\/p>\n
