\u201cHow long will the folks in Washington keep spending money that they don\u2019t have on solutions they haven\u2019t thought through for problems they don\u2019t really understand?\u201d Perry said. \u201cI suspect the answer is, they will continue to do that until every American is dependent on the federal government for every need<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tough talk for a man who depended on the federal government to fix his own house<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And here’s the Quitter, making shit up as usual<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“When Washington came calling with money for expensive programs that Texas couldn’t afford, he told them, ‘Thanks, but no thanks. We’re doing just fine without you<\/strong>,’ ” she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No — Perry didn’t say ‘Thanks, but no thanks.” Just like the Quitter did<\/a>, when Washington was doling out stimulus checks, Perry took the money.<\/a> And he used $12B in stimulus money to balance the state’s budget<\/a> despite claiming, as the Quitter did, that Texas had a “surplus<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

And this little detail is just the cherry on top of this deliciously hypocritical wingnutty sundae.<\/a><\/p>\n
