Built by Karmann for BMW, the 3.0 CS featured a 2985cc motor with dual carbs good for 180 horsepower.  The CS line helped to establish BMW as a driver&#8217;s car, largely due to their success in European Touring Car racing.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-36501\"><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/readers-rides-adams-1973-bmw-3-0-cs\/dsc_0595\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36503\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0595-500x332.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"DSC_0595\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-36503\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Adam&#8217;s ride sports Alpina wheels and wears a rare shade of green paint.
