{"id":294370,"date":"2010-02-08T17:25:11","date_gmt":"2010-02-08T22:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/?p=50525"},"modified":"2010-02-08T17:25:11","modified_gmt":"2010-02-08T22:25:11","slug":"gm-repair-parts-for-sticky-accelerators-on-pontiac-vibe-started-shipping-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/294370","title":{"rendered":"GM: Repair parts for sticky accelerators on Pontiac Vibe started shipping today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/2010_pontiac_vibe_wide_main_a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"563\" height=\"315\" \/><\/p>\n<p>General Motors announced today that repair parts for the sticking accelerator pedal issue in the 2009-2010 Pontiac Vibe will begin being shipped to dealers this week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Letters to Vibe customers will be mailed Feb. 16 with instructions to contact their Pontiac dealer after Feb. 22 to have a precision-cut steel reinforcement bar inserted into the accelerator pedal assembly,&#8221; GM said in a statement, &#8220;The installation will take about 30 minutes but customers may need to leave their vehicles with dealers for a longer period of time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>GM said that customers will also receive a second letter when a solution is available for the recall covering floor mat interference.
