{"id":296859,"date":"2010-02-08T22:52:23","date_gmt":"2010-02-09T03:52:23","guid":{"rendered":"tag:typepad.com,2003:post-6a00d8341c630a53ef0128777b78e8970c"},"modified":"2010-02-08T22:52:03","modified_gmt":"2010-02-09T03:52:03","slug":"seal-beach-mom-charged-in-death-of-22-month-old-daughter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/296859","title":{"rendered":"Seal Beach mom charged in death of 22-month-old daughter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Seal Beach mother of four was charged Monday in the death of her 22-month-old daughter and for allegedly fracturing the skull of the dead child&#8217;s male twin,\u00a0 authorities said.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>Linda Wilborn, 31, was charged with one felony count of assault on a child with force likely to produce great bodily injury resulting in death and three felony counts of child abuse, the Orange County district attorney&#8217;s office said. She was arrested Monday by the Seal Beach Police Department and was being held in lieu of $1-million bail.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>Wilborn allegedly ruptured the heart of the child who died, the district attorney&#8217;s office said. The child died after being taken to the hospital.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>The district attorney said Wilborn subjected her twins to physical abuse between Oct. 17 and Dec. 17, 2009.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>Her three other children have been placed in protective custody, prosecutors said.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>Wilborn is expected to be arraigned Wednesday at the Santa Ana courthouse. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years to life in state prison, according to the district attorney.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>&#8212; Robert J.
