One show that some are looking forward to see for New York Fashion week is Michael Bastian’s debut collection for Gant.<\/a> Bastian calls it a transition collection for “guys who are looking to buy those key pieces in his wardrobe.” For Fall\/Winter 2010, Michael Bastian looks to the sport of lacrosse for his inspiration. He exclaims in a Vanity Fair interview, \u201cThe Gant guy is the younger brother of my guy. Completely different, but related,” which works well with the appropriate price point of the collection. \u201cI wanted to put together a sexy and workable wardrobe that isn\u2019t too complicated. He just graduated from college\u2014he\u2019s looking for a job. It\u2019s definitely younger, hopeful.\u201d <\/p>\n
