Toyota Motor Corp. has received a stay of execution it would seem, as the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee canceled hearings set for Wednesday because of the second massive snowstorm in two weeks headed straight for the capital.<\/p>\n
The hearing has been tentatively rescheduled for Feb. 24, two days before the House Energy and Commerce Committee is set to hold its own hearing on Toyota.<\/p>\n
The Oversight Committee is going to be examining the government\u2019s response to the recall crisis, and attempting to better understand the technical aspect of the problem.<\/p>\n
