Dr. Seuss was right that people can guide themselves on any path in life. And, those who are good navigators are almost always good readers.<\/p>\n

Why not take a few minutes\u00a0March 2 (Dr. Seuss\u2019 birthday) to celebrate reading in your classroom, your school or your community and encourage kids to become avid readers, strong thinkers and good \u201csteerers\u201d in life.<\/p>\n

There is a huge amount of helpful hints, suggestions, reading lists, etc. on the National Education Association\u2019s website to help you get started.<\/p>\n
