Grammy Award-winning songbirds Beyonce Knowles and Alicia Keys spent Tuesday filming a music video in a Rio de Janeiro slum. The ladies have descended on the shantytown of Morro da Conceicao to shoot a video for Keys\u2019 \u201cPut It In a Love Song,\u201d the latest single from the album The Element of Freedom<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Song” will reportedly see Beyonce and Alicia dressed in Carnival-inspired costumes — including Swarovski headwear and feature scenes from the Sambadrome Carnival Parade.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s nice that we just celebrate each others careers, that\u2019s what the song is about, coming together to empower each other,\u201d<\/em> Alicia told Brazilian newspaper O Dia<\/em> of the track and Beyonce. \u201cThis song was meant for us at this time. We\u2019ve become really good friends.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The video — produced by Alicia’s married boyfriend Swizz Beatz — is expected to wrap shooting this week for a debut later this month.<\/p>\n
