The Federal regulation called the Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule<\/u> <\/font><\/font>
\n(RRP) <\/font><\/font>will go into effect on April 22, 2010 <\/DATE>. It requires all contractors, <\/font><\/font>
\nproperty owners\/managers and others who do the work on pre-1978 <\/font><\/font>
\nhousing who might disturb painted surfaces to become Lead <\/font><\/font>Certified <\/font><\/font>
\nRenovators by taking a one-day certified course about using <\/font><\/font>
\n“Lead Safe <\/font><\/font>Work Practices” on the job. <\/font><\/font>
\n

\nend-of-class <\/font><\/font>exam, students receive RRP Certification.<\/font>
