\"toshiba<\/a>Toshiba has been a little quiet as of late with giving us some laptops that have truly impressed us\u2026 fortunately, today Toshiba UK announced the new Satellite U500-1EX – a portable laptop with a 13.3\u201d multi-touch screen. The Satellite U500-1EX\u2019s will feature multi-touch capabilities. The Satellite U500-1EX utilizes Microsoft\u2019s Touch Pack for Windows 7, enabling users to easily flick through files and folders simply by touching the screen. Other touch controls, such as tap and double-tap, drag, press and hold, and flick and rotate. <\/span>Pricing will be \u00a3649 (US $889) and as of now it looks like it will only be available across the pond. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
