It\u2019s rematch time.\u00a0 In a facebook message to followers,\u00a0 \u201cThe Official DC Snowball Fight Crew\u201d (or The ODCSF Crew for short) is encouraging DC to take part in \u201cThe action, the fun, the thrill of the fight!\u201d<\/p>\n

The group is even peddling t-shirts, magnets, mugs and other souvenirs to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n

At 2 p.m. Wednesday DC residents are expected to congregate to the area\u2019s popular Dupont Circle for another massive snowball fight.<\/p>\n

Just last Saturday a huge crowd took part in a snowball fight after DC\u2019s most recent snow dump.\u00a0 Nearly 2,000 reportedly\u00a0attended that one.<\/p>\n

Organizers are calling today\u2019s conditions \u201cIDEAL\u201d for a good \u201cfight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Participants also won\u2019t just be throwing some frozen fast balls, it might just look more like a big party or parade.\u00a0 They\u2019re encouraged to bring flags, banners, shields, ammo trays, drums, and furry costumes.<\/p>\n

The situation is ripe for a good turnout today with the federal government closed due to the weather and many businesses shut down, there will be plenty of idle and cabin-fevered residents looking for something do.<\/p>\n

The snowball fights have been mostly organized through social networking.<\/p>\n

Organizers are\u00a0noting they want to keep the event active, but not too rowdy,\u00a0”\u00a0let\u2019s keep the fight CLEAN and SAFE for all involved!”<\/p>\n
