Of course, in Washington, and especially in the Capitol, where I work, this poor guy&#8217;s predicament is a well-worn analogy for politicians. But this morning, I found myself thinking about the fruitless task as I made my way into the U.S. Capitol where my office located.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You see, members of the media, especially those in cable news, don&#8217;t get days off, no matter how bad the weather.\u00a0 So &#8212; slipping and sliding down my driveway, into a rather large crew vehicle, and slipping and sliding my way into work, even encountering a convo of power trucks (not a heartening sight &#8211; please dont let the power go out!), and past famous memorials barely visible through the blizzard &#8212; you can imagine how the cursed king came to mind.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Attached\u00a0is a quick snapshot of my commute through the lonely streets of Washington &#8212; ok, that part wasn&#8217;t so bad, as these streets are usually crushed with traffic.\u00a0 So while there was some slipping and sliding, at least there was a n upside.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Of course, many reporters get to stay in nearby hotels, but I have dogs &#8212; so, no dice. Result? They&#8217;re here at work with me.
