The power plant will be developed by a consortium between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airvoicegroup.in\/\">Airvoice Group<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/sjvn.nic.in\/\">Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam<\/a>, which is a joint venture between the government of India and the state of Himachal Pradesh. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/02\/11\/solar-_2_A71t9_69.jpg\" alt=\"solar _2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airvoicegroup.in\/kar1.htm\">project<\/a> will involve the generation of 10GW of electricity from solar thermal energy and 3GW from wind turbines. The power plant will be built in a rural area of Karnataka.
