The “Fearless” singer – who is currently on tour in Australia – tried to befriend some Aussie wildlife in a Melbourne park this week and copped a dressing down from the authorities.<\/p>\n

“The REAL post-show ‘afterparty’ was at the park in downtown Melbourne where we fed wild Possums! They are SO cute!”<\/em> Taylor Tweeted<\/a> Wednesday night, posting a pic of one of the furry critters for fans to see.<\/p>\n The image has since been removed.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The 20-year-old songstress has been criticized by Australian wildlife authorities, who believe her petting session could cause “disruption” to the animals. The Australian Department of Sustainability and Environment was quick to tell her off for messing with marsupials. They issued the following statement late Thursday:<\/p>\n “We know people who feed wild animals often have the best intentions and that it is attractive to tourists who want to interact with Australian wildlife.
