While, it would probably be safe to attribute Android&#8217;s strong December to the Droid and maybe even teases of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5440694\/google-nexus-one-everything-you-need-to-know\">Nexus One<\/a>. Android&#8217;s July spike gets a bit more tricky, but the European release of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5301948\/htc-debuts-hero-with-fresh-face-for-android\">HTC Hero<\/a> may have something to do with it.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the public wasn&#8217;t wooed by the iPad, developers certainly were. Of course, some of that love may be fleeting, depending on what Android devices pop up next.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and it should be noted, despite how this graph may look, both Android and iPhone\/iPad app development grew in January.
