If Obama wants to own the situation there, he will also be to blame if the situation once again deteriorates, which is a distinct possibility.<\/p>\n<p>But notice the more important issue here: The man who ran against the Republicans largely on the issue of Iraq is now claiming it&#8217;s a great success. Nothing makes one party&#8217;s blunder a bipartisan success as much as a simple change in leadership.
