The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy who died after sticking his head out a car window just before the vehicle he was riding in crashed. <\/p>\n
The incident occurred Friday at about 9:25 p.m. in Porter Ranch. <\/p>\n
According to the LAPD, the victim had his head outside a window of the vehicle when the driver, 16, crashed into a parked car. <\/p>\n
No one else in the car was injured, and no arrests have been made. <\/p>\n
The victim, whose name was not released, apparently was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. <\/p>\n
The L.A. County coroner’s office is investigating the incident. <\/p>\n
