Last week, Broadcasting & Cable<\/i> reported that the Federal Communications Commission fined four TV stations more than $32,000 for failing to keep proper records. Yet the FCC still refuses to take action on the 1.6 million<\/i><\/u> indecency complaints it has received from American citizens. Apparently, the FCC believes that subjecting children to nudity, explicit sex, and vulgar profanity on the public airwaves is less important than tidy paperwork. <\/p>\n
