Okay?  The Iranian nuclear program has undertaken &#8212; has undergone a series of problems throughout the year.  Quite frankly, what Ahmadinejad says &#8212; he says many things and many of them turn out to be untrue.  <em>We do not believe they have the capability to enrich to the degree to which they now say they are enriching<\/em>. [Emphasis mine.]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although I think most of this is true, Gibbs is going to want that last sentence back.<\/p>\n<p>As should be clear from the <span class=\"caps\">IAEA<\/span> document (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.armscontrolwonk.com\/file_download\/219\/GOV_INF_2010_2.pdf\"><span class=\"caps\">GOV<\/span>\/INF\/2010\/2<\/a>) I posted a few days ago, Iran seems <a href=\"http:\/\/www.armscontrolwonk.com\/2624\/iran-produces-heu\">quite deliberately<\/a> moving to re-feed some of its current stock of <span class=\"caps\">LEU<\/span> into a single cascade configured to produce 19.75 percent enriched uranium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/acw\/~4\/y3AT6JANm-A\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, in the midst of a perfectly acceptable statement of Administration policy, cast doubt on Iran&#8217;s ability to enrich uranium: MR.
