FoMoCo is helping its dealerships become greener… well, almost. For a fee, Ford will assess a dealership’s energy use and recommend how it can become more energy efficient, said Ken Czubay, Ford’s\u00a0vice president of U.S. sales and marketing.<\/p>\n
Ford says that as a part of the Green Dealer Initiative, which is voluntary, dealers may have to spend $100,000 to $800,000 to make the recommended changes. Czubay said that dealers can make up the investment within three years.<\/p>\n
At a meeting with dealers, FoMoCo also announced a\u00a0Customer Service Committee of 18 dealers. The committee will study how dealers can improve customers’ experiences.<\/p>\n
