Tuesday &#8212; tomorrow &#8212; is the last day that a candidate can start collecting signatures for a Senate race. By Friday, that candidate needs to have 500 valid signatures in all nine of Indiana&#8217;s congressional districts.<\/p>\n<p>What if no one qualifies for the ballot? That lets the party with no candidate pick its nominee by June. That&#8217;s what Democrats would like to happen here. The wrinkle is that <a href=\"http:\/\/tamyraforsenate.com\/\">Tamyra d&#8217;Ippolito<\/a>, a first-time candidate, is already running, albeit reportedly having trouble with her last 1,000 signatures or so.
