Kennedy wrote to one of his lovers. WBBM&#8217;s Regine Schlesinger reports the bidding started yesterday at $25,000 and could go as high as $100,000 by the time the auction ends on March 3rd.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt&#8217;s the same auction house that sold a lock of Elvis&#8217; hair for 100-thousand. Now, Doug Allen, president of Legendary Auctions in suburban Lansing, says they have a set of 11 letters that the future president wrote to Gunilla von Post, a Swedish woman with whom he carried on a 2-year affair that began on the French Riveria in 1953, just a month before his marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe correspondence and the affair ended in 1955 when then-Senator Kennedy already was thinking about running for president 4 years later.
