{"id":330719,"date":"2010-02-17T10:00:36","date_gmt":"2010-02-17T15:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greenenergyreporter.com\/?p=6369"},"modified":"2010-02-17T10:00:36","modified_gmt":"2010-02-17T15:00:36","slug":"samsung-continues-surge-into-north-american-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/330719","title":{"rendered":"Samsung Continues Surge Into North American Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenenergyreporter.com\/wp-content\/themes\/v1\/img\/cat\/solar.png\" width=\"8\" height=\"8\" alt=\"\" title=\"Solar\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Samsung has created a joint venture with ENCO Utility Services to build solar power plants that will sell energy to California\u2019s Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&amp;E).<\/p>\n<p>The deal, which was <a href=\"http:\/\/greeninc.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/02\/16\/samsung-enters-solar-deal-in-california\/\">first reported<\/a> by Green Inc.\u2019s Todd Woody, will create five photovoltaic solar plants with a total of 130 megawatts of power.<span id=\"more-6369\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>PG&amp;E is seeking regulatory approval to buy the power for 25 years from a 50 megawatt plant and three 20 megawatt plants in Tulare County.
