Additional charges are still possible.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nEddie Lumpkin, 48, was allegedly driving a vehicle that struck a girl and her aunt at 7340 S. Ashland Ave. about 6:30 p.m.,  police said.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nJade Washington, 6, of the 1400 block of West 73rd Street, was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Comer Childrens Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiners office.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nJades 21-year-old aunt was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said. Fire spokesman Larry Langford said the woman suffered multiple fractures.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nLumpkin, of the 7300 block of South Damen Avenue, was cited for not having insurance, failing to carry a drivers license, failing to reduce speed, negligent driving, striking a pedestrian in the road and driving under the influence, police officer Laura Kubiak said.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nLangford said the full-sized white van appeared to strike Washington and her aunt as the two crossed the street.
