Betty White isn’t the only “Golden Girl” with a legion of fans fighting to bring her to late-night! Rue McClanahan played aging vamp Blanche alongside Betty on the ’80s comedy The Golden Girls <\/em>, and fans still haven’t forgotten how the star’s portrayal of the sex-charged Southern belle split sides and left audiences in stitches. A few hundred of Rue’s fan have taken to Facebook with a campaign to get the 75-year-old her first hosting gig on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. <\/p>\n “Betty White shouldn’t be the only one who gets to host SNL. She’s also going through a divorce from her husband of 12 years. However, if Rue’s feeling up to it, we’d love to see the two surviving “Golden Girls” co-host SNL<\/em> together.
