Please vote by clicking this badge! edited to add: I&#8217;ve been informed that you will have to create an account for Foodista in order to vote.\u00a0 I hope everyone knows how much I appreciate it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodista.com\/recipe\/6N836JZL\/easy-salsa-chili?src=fbfbc_badge\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cf.foodista.com\/static\/images\/fbfbc_badge.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">EASY SALSA CHILI<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1 \u00bd pounds ground round<br \/>\n3 cans dark red kidney beans, liquid drained<br \/>\n24 ounces thick and chunky salsa (mild, or as hot as you like)<br \/>\n16 ounces canned tomato sauce<br \/>\nGarlic powder<br \/>\nonion powder<br \/>\nsalt<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Directions: <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Crumble the ground beef into a large pot.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle liberally with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Drain any grease by dumping the meat into a colander in the sink, then wipe out the bottom of the pot if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Put the ground beef back in the pot.<\/p>\n<p>Add the 3 cans of drained kidney beans, the jar of salsa, and the can of tomato sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Stir well to combine and taste to adjust seasonings.<\/p>\n<p>Turn the heat up to high until the surface of the chili starts to boil, stirring occasionally.<\/p>\n<p>Once it comes to a boil, cover the pot and turn the heat down to medium low, just enough to keep the chili simmering.<\/p>\n<p>Simmer about an hour, stirring occasionally.<\/p>\n<p>If you vote, please let me know in a comment!
