UPDATE |<\/strong> VentureBeat reports<\/a> Tesla Motors employees Doug Bourn (see below the fold), Brian Finn and Andrew Ingram were killed when when the small twin-engine plane, owned by Mr. Bourn, crashed shortly after takingoff from the Palo Alto airport.<\/p>\n

According to his Linkedin\u00a0 profile<\/a> Mr. Finn’s was a\u00a0 senior manager – interactive electronics; Mr. Ingram’s Linkedin page<\/a> states that he was an electrical engineer. Mr. Bourn, we reported earlier, was a senior engineer.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

A spokeswoman for the San Mateo County Coroner told GER that the three Tesla Motors employees that died yesterday\u00a0when their small twin-engine plane crashed would not be identified today.<\/p>\n

The spokeswoman said the names of the victims could be released Friday but she declined to be more specific.<\/p>\n

The online edition of the San Jose Mercury News <\/a>reports that the twin-engine Cessna 310 was registered to Doug Bourn,\u00a0a senior engineer at Tesla.<\/p>\n

The spokeswoman at the Coroner’s office declined to tell GER\u00a0if Mr. Bourn was in the plane that crashed yesterday.<\/p>\n

The plane, which was bound for a Los Angeles-area airport,\u00a0crashed in foggy weather shortly after takeoff <\/a>from the Palo Alto, Calif., airport.<\/p>\n

Tesla has also not publicly identified the three employees.<\/p>\n
