Although he had surgery to  reconnect nerves in his left arm and hand soon after the accident, Freeman says he hasn&#8217;t been able to move the end of the forelimb in more than a year.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I suffered nerve damage and it hasn&#8217;t gotten better. I can&#8217;t move it,&#8221;<\/em> the star told <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.com\/people\/article\/0,,20345385,00.html\">PEOPLE<\/a><\/em> at Wednesday&#8217;s Los Angeles premiere of <em>The Eastwood Factor. &#8220;If you don&#8217;t move your hand, it will swell up.
