It&#8217;s now right around the crucial <a href=\"http:\/\/finviz.com\/futures_charts.ashx?t=GC&amp;p=m5\">$1110 mark<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/heres-what-ben-bernankes-meaningless-rate-hike-just-did-to-the-dollar-2010-2\">dollar is surging<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The euro got whacked overnight.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748703983004575074221160663914.html?mod=WSJ_Markets_LEFTTopNews\">Japan got pummeled<\/a>, falling 2.1%.<\/li>\n<li>Other Asian markets were down in the 2% range.<\/li>\n<li>In London, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/idUSLDE61I09820100219\">the FTSE is up modestly<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/markets\/stocks\/futures.html\">Dow futures<\/a> are down about 60.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/fed-presidents-chime-in-please-dont-think-were-taking-away-then-punch-bowl-any-time-soon-2010-2\">Fed governors<\/a> are spinning madly, promising this really isn&#8217;t a rate hike and is not about tightening at all.
