{"id":340765,"date":"2010-02-19T16:51:22","date_gmt":"2010-02-19T21:51:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chicagopressrelease.com\/press-releases\/murder-suspect-fights-with-jailer"},"modified":"2010-02-19T16:51:22","modified_gmt":"2010-02-19T21:51:22","slug":"murder-suspect-fights-with-jailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/340765","title":{"rendered":"Murder suspect fights with jailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DUBUQUE, Iowa\u00a0(AP)\u00a0 &#8212; A man accused of second-degree murder in a fatal stabbing during a Labor Day melee in Dubuque is now facing charges connected to a fight with a jailer.<\/p>\n<p>\nJerel Wright of Chicago is being held in the Dubuque County Jail awaiting trial.<\/p>\n<p>\nAuthorities say the 19-year-old Wright on Wednesday was arguing with fellow inmates when a guard stepped in to end it.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to court documents, Wright pushed the deputy several times, backing him into a corner.
