For just these applications that require position values, K\u00fcbler now offers its new Sendix absolute singleturn and multiturn encoders with ATEX certification. They are constructed with the &#8220;flameproof enclosure&#8221; type of protection and are approved for use in zones 1,2,21 and 22.  <\/p>\n<p>The shock and vibration resistant encoders operate flexibly and offer a high resolution of up to 29 bits. Thanks to their housing and flange that are made out of seawater-resistant aluminium they are ideal for use in offshore or coastal applications. With a protection level of IP67 and their wide temperature range from -40 to +60\u00b0C the Sendix ATEX encoders remain sealed even in harsh everyday use and offer a very high level of safety against breakdowns in the field.
