County juvenile probation office"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>At least 11 Los Angeles County juvenile probation officers have been<br \/>\nconvicted of crimes or disciplined in recent years for inappropriate<br \/>\nconduct involving current or former probationers, including several<br \/>\ncases of molesting or beating youths in their care, a Times<br \/>\ninvestigation has found.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, two other officers are the focus of internal affairs investigations for allegedly having sex with probationers.<\/p>\n<p>The Times identified the cases through court documents, law enforcement<br \/>\nrecords and department sources. Probation officials said they were<br \/>\nprohibited by law from discussing the details of officers&#8217; misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>Among the incidents:<\/p>\n<p>* A probation officer had sex with three youths in the detention hall<br \/>\nwhere she worked &#8212; in laundry, supply and interview rooms.
