Lombard paramedics responded to the emergency on the tracks near Grace Street and St. Charles Road, according to Battalion Chief Ron Rakosnic. <\/p>\n
The incident happened about a half-mile east of the Metra train station at 20 S. Main St. <\/p>\n
Rakosnic said paramedics transported the victim to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downer’s Grove.<\/p>\n
Rakosnic said the woman was alone at the time and couldn’t speculate on what happened. <\/p>\n
Metra spokesman Tom Miller said trains were delayed immediately after the incident, but have returned to normal. The tracks are shared by Metra and Union Pacific.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
