\nDeputy Police Chief Jeff Swoboda said Friday that the suspect was arrested about an hour after the robbery in the area of State and National streets.<\/p>\n
\nThe robber entered the bank, presented a note and told employees he had a gun, FBI spokeswoman Cynthia Yates said. <\/p>\n
\nHe demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount. <\/p>\n
\nThe man had not been charged as of 9 a.m. Monday, Yates said. <\/p>\n
\nHe was arrested after an Elgin police officer saw noticed he matched the description of the robber.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
