Last week&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5473967\/shooting-challenge-blow-out\">Shooting Challenge<\/a> was dedicated to the rare .01% that&#8217;s blinded by the light. The resulting shots are incredible.<\/p>\n<h1>Second Runner Up<\/h1>\n<p><a rel=\"lytebox\" href=\"http:\/\/cache.gawkerassets.com\/assets\/images\/4\/2010\/02\/jasonbolt.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cache.gawkerassets.com\/assets\/images\/4\/2010\/02\/500x_jasonbolt.jpg\" class=\"left image500\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>I shot most of the photo with the exposure I wanted, but used photoshop to up the exposure, gamma correction, noise reduction and unsharp mask.<\/em><br \/>\nLens: Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm VR<br \/>\nISO: 200<br \/>\nShutter: 1\/200<br \/>\nAperture: F13<br \/>\nFocal Length: 50mm<br \/>\n[Ed note: I have a feeling that the larger you can look at this, the more you can appreciate the gradient of detail and the more striking it would be. Iso 800, into the sunlight.
