Constructed as a modular tooling system, the compact adaptor and clamping chuck (Monoblock), as well as the arbor milling cutter itself, build together the two main components. For this reason, the PCD arbor milling cutter can easily be exchanged if required. With its brazed PCD-cutting edges an axial runout accuracy of 0,003 mm and a concentricity of 0,01 mm is guaranteed. By the combination of the unequal number of teeth and the positive cutting edge geometry, an improvement of the surface quality and machining accuracy is achieved and thereby vibrations are avoided as far as possible. By the resharpenable PCD-cutting edges, it is possible to achieve cutting depths until 8 mm.
