As the search for former Growing Pains<\/em> star Andrew Koenig continues, his on screen bestie Kirk Cameron is speaking out about the missing actor.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Cameron, who played Mike Seaver on the popular \u201880s series, while Koenig played his best friend Richard \u201cBoner\u201d Stabone, says he is hopeful authorities will find Koenig, who was last seen over a week ago in Vancouver.<\/p>\n \u201cI am very concerned to hear of the disappearance of my old friend Andrew Koenig,\u201d <\/em>Kirk said in a written statement issued Monday. \u201cAlthough I have not had contact with him for many years, I can remember many of the fun times we had on the set of ‘Growing Pains.’ I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return.\u201d Kirk, a devoted sent this message directly to Andrew. \u201cIf you\u2019re reading this, please call me. Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I’m praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Andrew, 41, went missing on Valentines Day in Vancouver, British Columbia.
