Since switching from paid iPhone game apps to a free-to-play model with in-game purchases, iPhone game startup ngmoco has managed to raise $25 million in venture capital funding. That’s enough to buy up another top developer and expand even further.<\/p>\n

Freeverse, the company bought up by ngmoco, is is behind paid iPhone games such as Skee-Ball, Flick Fishing, Flick Bowling, and Moto Chaser. There’s no word on whether the purchase will lead to a change in the sales model, but it’ll definitely lead to us seeing the familiar ngmoco logo even more.
