{"id":353098,"date":"2010-02-23T10:14:09","date_gmt":"2010-02-23T15:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chicagopressrelease.com\/press-releases\/palos-man-charged-after-sw-side-crash"},"modified":"2010-02-23T10:14:09","modified_gmt":"2010-02-23T15:14:09","slug":"palos-man-charged-after-sw-side-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/353098","title":{"rendered":"Palos man charged after SW Side crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><h3><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>A Palos Hills motorist was charged with drunken driving after the car he was driving crashed into a cement flowerpot barrier, critically injuring a passenger, in Chicago&#8217;s Garfield Ridge community, police said. <\/p>\n<p>Felony charges are still possible, according to police. <\/p>\n<p>David Czaja, 23, was driving north on  Cicero Avenue when he lost control and the vehicle struck a cement flowerpot barrier near 56th Street about 10:30 p.m. <span id=\"more-21014\"><\/span>Sunday, police said. <\/p>\n<p>Czaja, of the 10400 block of South Aspen Drive, was ticketed for DUI and failure to reduce speed, police said. <\/p>\n<p>Czaja was initially taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
