Susana Mendoza, 37, is part of a mission in conjunction with the National Foundation for Women Legislators and the U.S. Department of State to travel to Baghdad.<\/p>\n<p>The Southwest Side lawmaker is working to move her legislation through Illinois House committees this week before the trip.<\/p>\n<p>Mendoza plans to return to Springfield in time for Gov.
