The Open Angel Forum<\/a>, a free, meetup-style event held by technology industry raconteur Jason Calacanis, is coming to San Francisco<\/a>. Calacanis launched the forum in an effort to offer an alternative to all the “pay-to-pitch schemes” out there, and so far this year has already held events — through which five startups<\/a> are subsequently matched up with angel investors — in Los Angeles and Boulder, Colo. The SF event will he held on March 4th<\/a> and will be led by two very active angels, Kevin Rose (of Digg)<\/a> and Chris Sacc<\/a>a.<\/p>\n
