In his latest role as the FT&#8217;s U.S. economics editor and deputy Washington bureau chief, he covered economic policy in the Bush and Obama administrations along with the U.S. central bank, the <strong>International Monetary Fund<\/strong> and the <strong>World Bank<\/strong>. He was previously an editorial writer for the FT, political correspondent in the U.K., Lex columnist and Bombay correspondent.
