The jumbo-sized DS redesign, the DSi XL, which came out in Japan in November<\/a>, will make its way to the U.S. March 28 and cost $190<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To position the giant, non-pocket-sized handheld as a Kindle rival, Nintendo will publish a cartridge with 100 e-books<\/a>. Expect a bunch of public domain works you could download for free on the Kindle, iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.<\/p>\n

As a DSi enthusiast, I can’t see much of an advantage in getting less portable version of the system I love for its portability. What are your thoughts?<\/p>\n
