Now, converting an internal combustion engine (ICE) to run on hydrogen is not quite as clean out the tailpipe as a fuel cell, but it is close.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the companies that I\u2019ve talked about in the past that specialize in converting ICE vehicles into H2ICE vehicles include <a title=\"Quantum Technologies\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qtww.com\/\" >Quantum Technologies<\/a> and <a title=\"Intergalactic Hydrogen\" href=\"http:\/\/americanfuelvehicles.com\/IntergalacticHydrogen.aspx\" >Intergalactic Hydrogen<\/a>, both in the U. S.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also talked about a British company, Revolve (formerly Roush Industries) that have converted a couple of <a title=\"Ford\" href=\"http:\/\/www.revolve.co.uk\/Projects\/Bi-fuel-conversion\" >Ford<\/a> Transit-based vehicles to run on compressed hydrogen gas. And now, they are looking for more business.<\/p>\n<p>Revolve says they can <a title=\"handle\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businesscar.co.uk\/story.asp?sectioncode=1&amp;storycode=5674&amp;c=2&amp;theme=0\" >handle<\/a> about 20 hydrogen conversions of transit vans per month. Fleet vehicles will be the most likely candidates since the <a title=\"UK hydrogen highway\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hydrogencarsnow.com\/uk-hydrogen-highway.htm\" >UK hydrogen highway<\/a> is in the beginning stages of development.<\/p>\n<p>The estimated prices for hydrogen conversions of ICE vehicles is $30,000 and up for Intergalactic Hydrogen, $60,000 and up for Quantum Technologies and around $69,000 for Revolve to convert a transit van.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve talked about this before but I haven\u2019t talked about it in a while and there is an update in regard to converting cars, trucks or vans to run on hydrogen gas.
