\"\"<\/a>We don’t know about you, but that’s the kind of headlines we like to see.\u00a0 Thanks to a proliferation of handset makers and good ol’ fashioned competition, the prices of Android handsets is dropping faster than<\/a> analysts and industry insiders expected.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Take for instance the forthcoming T-Mobile Pulse Mini from Huawei.\u00a0 Announced at last week’s Mobile World Congress, the U8110<\/a> features a 2.8-inch resistive screen with stylus, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and Android 2.1 under the hood.\u00a0 When it arrives later this quarter for T-Mobile UK, it’s expected to sell for about \u00a3100 (US$155) unlocked.\u00a0 That’s over 54% less than the price tag that came on the original Pulse only a few months ago.\u00a0 Granted the screen size does factor in for most heavy users, the general public will likely fall in love with the price.<\/p>\n
