On Thursday, the State Assembly <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.laweekly.com\/ladaily\/community\/california-cussing-assembly\/\">passed a resolution<\/a> that will establish the first week of March as &#8220;Cuss Free Week&#8221; throughout the state. The legislation was spearheaded by McKay Hatch, a Southern California teenager, who testified at the Capitol in Sacramento this week as part of the proposal to ban swearing in sunny Cali for seven days. The resolution includes no enforcement mechanism, so offenders won&#8217;t be ticketed or cited in any way if they&#8217;re caught dropping a few &#8220;F-Bombs.&#8221; <em>&#8220;The initiative is simply meant to promote greater harmony and connectedness,&#8221;<\/em> says Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, who co-wrote the measure. Californians are encouraged to make &#8220;cuss-jars&#8221; using labels found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nocussing.com\/\">McKay&#8217;s website<\/a>.  If you use profanity, you should deposit cash or coins into the jar.
