Neighborhoods page to learn more about this area.\"><\/img><\/a> <\/p>\n<div class=\"listitem-thumb\"><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The girl was reportedly crossing on foot against a red light ahead of her mother about 7:20 a.m. as she tried to catch a school bus in the <a href=\"http:\/\/projects.latimes.com\/mapping-la\/neighborhoods\/neighborhood\/brentwood\/?q=100+North+Cliffwood+Drive&amp;lat=34.057448&amp;lng=-118.485162\">100 block of North Cliffwood Drive<\/a>, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The Mercedes struck the girl while turning the corner, police said.
