{"id":374755,"date":"2010-03-01T05:57:56","date_gmt":"2010-03-01T10:57:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chicagopressrelease.com\/press-releases\/700-more-lifesavers-in-oak-lawn"},"modified":"2010-03-01T05:57:56","modified_gmt":"2010-03-01T10:57:56","slug":"700-more-lifesavers-in-oak-lawn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/374755","title":{"rendered":"700 more lifesavers in Oak Lawn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><h3><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of people in Oak Lawn have received CPR training, courtesy of an intense five-week training series. <\/p>\n<p>Learning the lifesaving skills were a mix of 700 local students, teachers, village employees and coaches. <\/p>\n<p>The training was part of the &#8220;Oak Lawn Heart Rescue&#8221; program, which took shape  earlier this year thanks to a grant from the Medtronic Foundation, the charity arm of the Medtronic medical technology company, along with volunteer help from several other companies and local agencies. <span id=\"more-21609\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the second time Oak Lawn has facilitated the program. <\/p>\n<p>Last year, the program graduated about 1,100 students. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This didn&#8217;t cost taxpayers a dime,&#8221; said Lt.
